The world is an exciting, diverse, mysterious and wonderous place. Life takes us in so many directions and pulls from many sources. Many of us have asked ourselves who am I? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going? Or similar exsistential life questions.

As an experienced tarot reader it is my opinion that people wish to have a tarot reading for 3 main reasons: curiosity, entertainment and to help resolve difficult life issues.

Curiosity

The curious questioner seeks a Tarot reader to find out ‘what it’s all about’. They may have seen Tarot cards in a movie or read about a fortune teller in a book and have been intrigued by the whole experience of it! A friend may have recently had a Tarot reading and this has inspired them to seek out a Tarot reader and have a reading themselves. This is also the reason a skeptic will get a reading. They are open to see what will happen and are curious enough to see what's to come of the experience.

Discovery & Healing

The light seeker finds themselves in a postition for a Tarot reading when they appear to be stuck in life or need some guidence and inspiration. They are looking for an overview of their life and current destiny, and require detailed advice on what steps are needed to fulfill their immediate purpose or be more successful.

Often a client may have troubling issues that bother them deeply or may be going through difficult changes or emotional distress. There may appear to be no solution apparent, or alternatively there may be more than one option open and it can feel overwhelming. At times like this a Tarot reading can really help.

Entertainment

The passerby is the questioner that finds themselves in a reading perhaps unexpectadly. Whether a private party or out at an event or festival, a Tarot reading can be very entertaining when approached in the right way. I have taken part in many of these cases where the reading is quite a surprise to the questioner! This is a lighthearted way to approach some of our pressing questions. These types of readings are usually more brief and generalized messages. I tend to stick to upbeat, positive advice and recommend leaving the more ‘heavy’ questions to be dealt with during a private consultation if needed.
